Personality: Hina is upbeat and energetic, and very curious. He loves to see new things and will spend much of his time traveling to see what humans and other pokemon have created. He really does want to help people, which is a sort of credo amongst Jirachi, but has a tendency to be rather selfish. He still holds a deep respect for the trainer that healed him after their battle, and it is this memory that sometimes leads him to overcome his self-centered thoughts. Hina is fond of sweets and kabobs, and like his parents especially loves visiting carnivals.
History: Because of a small population, which is active only one week every millenium, very few Jirachi are born. However, thanks to the wish of a kind hearted human, one Jirachi did stumble upon another. The two clicked almost immediatly, and spent the remaining five days together at a carnival. Hina was born two thousand years later, and treated very lovingly by his parents. However after his third awakening Hina became seperated from his parents. A rockslide occured which buried his caccoon deep under the earth. He was not found until a mining project broke ground, and he was pulled free as a "natural wonder". When he finally awoke, in a museum no less, Hina was very distraught over the dissapearance of his parents. He spent all seven days searching for them, but had no luck. This was the first time that Hina truly did not want to hibernate. For the next two millenia he searched, but finally he gave it up. He had managed to survive on his own, and decided to simply live with that. His spirits rose a bit over his next awakenings and Hina had much more fun seeing how the world had changed. It was during one of his sightseeing tours, that Hina encountered a trainer. Hina knew that his species was rare, and sought after for wishes, but he had no idea that someone would want to catch him to fight with. Despite his age, Hina was still inexperienced with battle. He did his best against the trainer, but finally fell. He was badly injured and, to his amazement, the trainer than used his wish to heal Hina. Hina was struck by this and decided that he would accompany the trainer. However the wish had come with a price. Hina's body was healed, but he was left very weak. By reflex alone he curled up and began to reform his cacoon. The trainer, more concerned with Hina's wellbeing, let him be.
When Hina awoke he was torn over the previous events. He had wanted to help the trainer, but his hibernation had come between them. It was at that point he devised a plan. He inscribed a wish of his own upon one of his and attempted to grant it. Hina's wish was to never hibernate again. The wish was granted and eight days later he remained awake. It was only then that he found the price it came with. His third eye would no longer open and his attempts to grant wishes ended in complete failure. But this was irrelevent to Hina. He was still awake, and would be able to see the world for as long as he liked. Over the next three years Hina traveled the world, but slowly he began to notice a change. The climate was becoming much harsher with each passing month, which Hina found very uncomfortable. Eventually he stumbled upon a meeting of water pokemon, who claimed that the fire pokemon were activly increasing the world's temperature. Hina, who had no idea what other pokemon were really capable of, took their words at face value. He than promised to do whatever he could to stop the plot.
IC: Hina's eyes shifted around without focus as he floated over the carnival. Each moment his attention was more drawn by something else on the bright midway. Finally he locked on the large ferris wheel at the center of the pavelion. With a little midair flip Hina headed over to it and landed top the highest car. Being that he could fly naturally, a ferris wheel was not the most thrilling attraction. However the metal roof felt quite nice against his body, for a moment removing the memory of the recent weather. Watching the people on the midway from the edge of the car, Hina softly kicked his legs against the edge. The people seemed to become larger and larger as the car descended, until finally Hina was near ground. At this point a few humans began to point. Most of them were smaller children, who were than dragged away by their parents, who didn't even bother to look towards him.
